5 days of sun is what we've been promised.  So, this is it.  The first big tilling week of the year.  I should have my own yard, Bybee Gardens, all set up by Friday of this week.  Tilled and seeded.  We've also scheduled some tilling at Mossy Point on Friday morning.  We'll probably get it seeded over the weekend.  French Breakfast radishes, Tyee spinich, New Red Fire leaf lettuce, Red Beard scallions... 

Just about the time we're turning the corner, passing the average last frost day in Portland, we have a nice solid frost followed by some snow mixed into our rain today.  It's enough to make a first time farmer think twice about the decision he's made.  I mean, I'm at the mercy of mother nature now.  Hope she gives me a few dry days in a row this week.  Just enought to seed some lettuce, spinach, green onion, carrots...
